Is it possible to slightly darken peices of stained glass in a lamp with a special kind stain or paint?
I ordered it online and the color is a little different than what was shown in the picture. It’s very pretty. But what I thought was red is actually orange. Surely there is something that would change the hue a little….doesn’t even have to be a permanent thing.
There is a WONDERFUL line of faux stained glass plaint. Go to a large craft store and ask.
They may not have the exact color you want, but it can be mixed, as any other paint, to match.
Anything else you use will be opaque.

I think it is beautiful as well. I would love to have a stained glass lamp. We can’t afford such extravagant things though.
2nd of Studio Sparkle ’s making stained glass lamps
Studio Sparkle is making Tiffany Lamps and the original design Panel Lamps as pictures of art glass. The lamps send out bright in the dark and the picture panels , imaging sunshine and wind , were designed by Chiaki Sato in Japan.
We really wish to create beautiful lamps, which can touch the heart of people.
In this video, the original design collection includes
“Lily for You” , “Sparkling Rose”, “Japanese Iris”
and ” Young Leaves”.
These works are made from Uroboros Glass, Youghiogheny Glass, or Oceana Glass.

stained glass question…?
My windows in the front of the house have a half circular window on top. There are 3 of these in the front.Do you think it would be a wise choice to install stained glass in these areas or would it look too much like a cathedral. We have several stained glass lamps and fire place covers, but it is all inside.Would it look nice or unclassy.
I think it would look fabulous from the inside during the day and from the outside at night. It’s a very upscale expensive look so I don’t think you would be sorry. Obviously you like stained glass anyway and I do too. I’m a retired realtor and the only stained glass I ever saw someone object to was a window with a scene of a lighthouse in a part of the country that has very little water and no lighthouses. I’m sure the seller has a soft spot in his heart of lighthouses but it was not a selling point. Yours put in the arches will be. Good Luck and God Bless
