Everything Lamps

Currently my bedroom has dark wooden floors, white furniture, light green walls and black and white art deco style curtains. A little boring if you ask me. I find myself developing a growing love for the cluttered antique styles; dark green velvet, silks, leather sofas, antique lamps. I’m not bothered about trawling through ebay to find the right things, but where do I start? What do I need to do to get it all going? Is it important to plan it out, or do these rooms develop naturally with time? Any more items that would give my room this feel would also be a help [: Thankyou x

i completely changed my room and decorated it with a morrocan theme, the first thing i did was paint my walls, then i bought a new bed and got rid of the stuff i didnt want, then bought more morrocan style stuff to go with my room, then bought loads od satin to decorate my ceiling, you do have to plan it out, dont worry if it doesnt go according to plan it just helps knowing that you have a plan there, search on the internet for the type of theme, i found that help me a lot, also i used to watch mtv cribs a lot and felt really inspired by mariah careys crib and took some ideas from that, just do loads of research
